Poppi began with a vision of poppies dancing across a textured canvas. Layers of white spackle and netting created dimension, while red, yellow, orange, black and touches of white acrylic paint were layered together and blown with a straw to create wonderfully imperfect flowers. Silk stems, textured paper grass and a delicate paper bird completed the piece.

The finished mixed-media painting was photographed and transformed into the Poppi pattern—original art reimagined as fashion.

Pink Poppi began with the same original mixed-media artwork as Poppi. After the finished painting was photographed, the image was digitally manipulated, transforming the original colors into deep, vibrant shades of pink while preserving the texture, movement and wonderfully imperfect flowers.

The result became Pink Poppi—a fresh pink interpretation of the original Poppi artwork, reimagined as fashion.
